Mark a Turnitin paper assignment

There are a number of features in Turnitin that assist with the marking of assignments.

Commenting tools

Turnitin allows an assessor to comment on a student's work with Bubble comments, inline comments, text summaries or voice comments.

Use the links on this page to access the exact support you need.

QuickMarks

QuickMarks allow you to create and reuse comment sets to reduce your marking time.

Rubric scorecards

A rubric scorecard provides a marking grid to assist with inter- and intra-assessor reliability. The rubric scorecard allows you to easily score the performance of a paper against a set of criteria on a scale. From the scorecard, you may select to what extent your student has met the criteria within their paper.

Grading forms

A grading form allows you to easily score the performance of a paper against a set of criteria. From the form, each criterion is described, alongside a comment section and scoring section.
